False Bay

It is no surprise that I adore False Bay.
As an excuse to visit it I took my sisters, my cousins, and their friends for a drive along this gorgeous coastline.

When you're there, you just feel as if you're living in the old Cape Town, the one that's still quiet in it's confidence.
Unlike the egotistical side of Atlantic seaboard that flaunts it's beauty to every new comer, the beaches of False Bay are all just going about their days, calmly enjoying the beauty that is Cape Town.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with this part of Cape Town, let me put it in a way you might understand:
The Atlantic Seaboard comprises of Camps Bay, Clifton and the beaches of that area. In a movie, they would be the obvious hottie that everyone wants to be or be with.
False Bay is made up of St. James, Muizenburg and Boulders beach, just to name a few. In the movie, it would be the quiet friend that has always been there, that you never realised you loved until your heart gets broken by the evil bitch hottie.

This is not to say I dislike Camps Bay. I just think it's turned into this "elite zone" where only the hot, cool, rich people can go. Whereas Kalk Bay welcomes everyone, so long as you check your BS at the door :)
