This past weekend was the event of the 'Supermoon'. That once-a-year phenomenon where the moon passes by the Earth closer than normal, thus appearing to be much larger.
My friends and I decided we'd go check it out from the top of Lion's Head.
Unfortunately I couldn't take my camera up the mountain, but I managed to get a shot of Table Mountain at night as illuminated by the Supermoon.
Was a great reason to experience my first night-hike :)
