Greenpop

As some of you may know, I recently became the social media co-ordinator to a fantastic company called Greenpop.

I'm so excited to be working for them because they're doing amazing things for the environment.
Greenpop is an organization that plants trees, whether it be for individuals or companies, they're trying to get everyone into the frame of mind of planting trees and gardens, as well as living sustainably off the earth, all in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.

At this moment, majority of our Greenpop team is currently in Zambia for the month of July hoping to plant 5000 trees. Zambia is the second most de-forested country in the world, so their efforts are very much needed. http://www.greenpop.org/projects/trees-for-zambia/

The response so far has been AMAZING.
So many people from around the world have signed up to volunteer.
People from countries including the UK, Netherlands, Norway, Lithuania, Switzerland, USA, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Uganda, and of course Zambia, have all signed up to help our South African team in an effort to make Zambia greener.
Of the 100+ volunteers that have signed up, so far over 2000 indigenous Zambian trees have been planted. Yay!

We have some awesome photographer's and videographer's up there who are sending us constant feedback. Thanks to Makhulu and Sydelle Willow Photography for all the footage.

For now, check out this awesome video they've made of what week 1 was like:

Loving the feedback from our team.
Loving what everyone is doing, we're definitely feeling a change. So much inspiration all around!
